Philippe and Alexis at Casablanca Tagaytay

Two countries united as Philippe and Alexis walk down the aisle of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, March 8, 2013. The church is very extraordinary because it casts that holiness. Known as the Healing Church, it is a miraculous and healing shrine for Catholic weddings. Some of the guests came all the way from France to be present at the very special day of the lovely couple.

The reception followed in the magnificent Casablanca Private Mansion. The place has an impressive view of Taal Lake and Volcano and comfortable rooms for the couple to stay. The tables were beautifully arranged with native lamparas that look like a mini house, pink and white flowers, pink table napkins and chimney glass over a clay pot. The highlight of all is the kalesa centerpiece in the buffet table for their Filipiniana theme. The setup was customized based on the couples desire. A foreign guest said, “The place is very beautiful, it is better than France.”

The program starts with a “Bring Me” game where the guests will bring things that are significant to the newlywed. The host for the night from Kiss The Girl Events, who was also their wedding coordinator, acknowledge the presence of Philippe’s mother and Alexis’ parents.

The couple’s First Dance is “She” played by String Colours Ensemble. The stunning bride wears a majestic princess type gown with Swarovski crystals holding a bouquet of pink flowers, the groom is on his Filipiniana type suit. Both looked very happy and truly in love.

During the cake cutting ceremony, Philippe said that the cake is “masarap”. Their one layer cake with cupcake tower, with the pink and green motif plus a cute bride and groom topper is by Sofia’s Cakes. In their wine toasting, Alexis finished the wine first, which they said, means she will be the boss of the house.

The foreign guests where enthusiastic to taste the food that the couple prepared for them. The healthy and delicious dinner was served by Town’s Delight - The Caterer. Philippe is from France, but they still choose to have Filipino dishes for their wedding day.

One of the principal sponsors from France said, “The food is great, good service and nice ambiance.”.

According to the bride, their guests were very happy with the food, the setup and with the hospitable wait staffs, and said that she will still have Town’s Delight - The Caterer on her future events.
